THE NO HESITATION BASKETBALL APPROACH

How we build more adaptive basketball players that excel in the game

ENVIRONMENT IS EVERYTHING

BUILDING ADAPTABLE BASKETBALL PLAYERS

The game is unpredictable. The best players in the world are elite at adapting to the ever-changing conditions of the game. We create environments that force players to adapt and solve problems just like they would in a game. Most players need more problems, not more reps.

HOW WE SHAPE DEVELOPMENT

ADAPTATION OVER REPETITION

Our bodies are highly adaptive systems. We are designed to adapt to our environment in order to be successful. Whether its lifting weights, running long distances, or studying academics, our bodies adapt to make the activities we regularly engage with easier over time. Skill training is no different. If we are training in a sterile, choreographed environment all the time, our body adapts to this. The game is not choreographed, but very dynamic and changing. This is where many workouts fail to transfer to the game. Our bodies aren't conditioned to be successful in a dynamic environment. While repetition is important, the type of repetition is more important. Skill needs to be adaptive, not robotic.

We've found that most athletes need more problems to solve, not more scripted reps. We force game-like adaptations that hold up under pressure and high stress.
